The largest retail chains continue to develop new sales technologies. This time the US Internet Amazon giant Amazon distinguished itself by presenting a device called Dash Button for public view.

The idea embodied in it is so simple that many simply took it for an April Fool’s joke. Dash Button in shape and size resembles a keychain with a button on which the product logo is pasted.


The principle of its action is extremely simple: you should click on the button with the logo of the necessary product, and soon the courier from Amazon will deliver it to the threshold of your house. While the list of “goods through the button” is limited to drinks, several kinds of pasta, cheese, household goods, garbage bags and a number of other items.


Amazon recommends its customers to fix the treasured button where the goods are usually placed. For example, for food products – in the refrigerator, and for washing powder – on the washing machine. Dash Button is configured using a special mobile application Amazon via a Wi-Fi point in the apartment building.

After clicking the button, a notification is sent to the smartphone. Order can be canceled within half an hour. After repeatedly pressing the same button, you will still be delivered only one copy of the product.
